Pictures from the Xojo Developer Conference

Here a few pictures from the conference:

You probably read Bob's report, but I can add that new compiler is scheduled for Q1/2015. So when that means we have a beta in Q1, maybe a good working one in Q2?

For iOS, well, they target to get it out in Summer for alpha/beta. But this first version will probably not support plugins, e.g. linking in static libraries and calling them with declares. I have no problem providing a library for Xojo iOS with wrapper classes in Xojo which declare to the functions in a static library to get DynaPDF, SQL and ChartDirector to the iPhone/iPad. But we'll see how soon that's possible.

In my opinion, iOS target is a waste. it WILL be always 5 years behind Xcode. not worth the effort at all…
Why don’t they continue on desktop? Xojo for Mac is a major competitor to Xcode and other IDEs. still rooms for improvements !

@Mahyar: Bolock .. don’t write nonsense of you do not know what you are talking about.
The Xojo iOS framework will use Native controls so ones it is available it will be uptodate with every iOS version to come.
It is a bit late to come though ..
Nuff said.

Well, Xojo for iOS is certainly good to offer clients an integrated solution. An app which has desktop, web and iOS parts which work together. Greetings Christian Schmitz

@Chris: I don’t know which ‘nonsense’ made you so mad but i have a question for you, Do you really think all that matter is native controls?! now THAT is nonsense.
I’d love a simple IDE like Xojo with crossplatform support for both desktop and mobile but here’s the reality: Xojo is not good at promises. don’t get too excited!
